If you want to catch more fish, you've got to fish smarter. The new optimum downrigger is ingeniously designed. This smart, connected system provides you with critical trolling data and allows you to raise, lower, and cycle weights using the full-color LCD display, your Hummingbird fish finder, or even your mobile device. No matter where you are on the boat, you're in control, and the fish won't know what hit them.

The optimum downrigger features a full-color 3.5" LCD display, offering multiple screen view options to access the trolling data you need, and two modes (light/dark) for optimal readability in any light conditions. Running multiple lines is easier than ever, as complicated wiring is a thing of the past. You can network up to four optimum downriggers wirelessly. With the Cannon app on your mobile device, you'll have trolling data at your fingertips and total control of your optimum downriggers from anywhere on your boat. It even keeps your optimum software up to date.

The wireless integration fully integrates with Fish Hawk Electronics, the Cannon mobile app, and up to four Optimum downriggers. The wireless network allows for features like Auto Up All, with one push of a button to instantly retrieve all your weights at once or one at a time.

The precision controls store up to 5 preset depths and remember the depth of the last catch. You can cycle the weight up and down at preset intervals with Depth Cycle, or use Bottom Tracking to automatically keep your bait at a preset distance from the bottom. The Waterline Zero feature protects your boat from swinging weights by automatically keeping the weight at a set distance below the waterline.

The Positive Ion Control (PIC) neutralizes the negative energy field created by your boat's electronics, allowing fish to stay closer to your line. The system offers five (5) adjustable retrieve and deploy speeds, with a weight retrieval rate of up to 250 feet per minute.

The stainless steel telescopic boom extends from 24" to 53", and the composite spool comes pre-spooled with 400' of 150 lb of stainless steel cable. The dual-axis rod holder includes two (2) rear-mount rod holders.
